Welcome to our web site!  We are thrilled that you stopped by to visit Bethany Single Parents on-line.  We hope that you will find the information presented here informative, useful and inspiring.  Use this site for meeting and resource information.  Or, pick up a few relevant factoids like...
Fact:  By the end of the 1990's, nearly 30% of U.S. family households with children under the age of 18 were headed by a single parent1.  Contrast this with just barely over a 10% single parent household representation in the 1970s.  The family landscape of the United States has certainly changed in the last quarter century!

For some, these statistics would cause concern and perhaps a few moments of thoughtful reflection on societal ills and a valueless society.  But for those of us "living the dream", reflections are only what we catch a glimpse of in the rear view mirror on our way to football practice, Parent/Teacher conferences, and the grocery store.  While many of us would love to wax philosophic about how we ended up on this side of demography statistics, the dryer buzzer is relentless as it challenges the microwave to a musical duel for our attention!

Yes, life a single parent is an incredible challenge.  But you are not alone...

The Bethany Single Parents Group has been formed with you in mind!

To accompany our group, we have put this website together for your information, reference, and hopefully to augment our ability to stay connected.  We believe meaningful CONNECTION is key to standing strong, staying encouraged and celebrating all the little daily victories that make you and your children the survivors and overcomers that God is calling you to be.

So, we encourage you to rummage around this site like you would a Back-To-School flea market!  Get info on our meetings and talk back to us through the input forms ANDTHE BLOG!

We look forward to hearing from you and fellowshiping with you in person.  In the meantime, if you're in the kitchen and you're a multi-tasker, remember:  Experience has proven that opening the bills and draining pasta concurrently is not the optimal task combination if you've had a hard day at work.   (And that tip was FREE to thank you for visiting the site today!)

God Bless and see you soon!
